What to expect on Sunday

Renewal Intro from Renewal Church on Vimeo.

We worship at Glenview Middle School, 2575 Old Williamston Rd, during the school year.  Parking is located at the rear of the school, and handicap parking is available.  You will enter near the auditorium where we gather.  There will be greeters and parking attendants to help point you to the auditorium.

Worship Service

Our worship service begins at 10:00am.  You will be met by greeters and ushers to provide you with a worship bulletin and to help you find a seat.

In our singing together, we seek to emphasize the great truths of God and the gospel. We purposefully draw from both the best hymns of the past and the best hymns and songs being written today. Our intent is that the instruments (mostly keyboard and accustic guitar) serve to assist, not replace or drown out, the joyous and reverent singing of the congregation.

Our worship service typically last 80-90 minutes in large part because of the attention we want to give to the reading and preaching of God’s Word.

Fellowship is a significant part of our gathering on Sundays. We strongly encourage members and visitors to arrive early and stay late to visit with one another.

Children and Families

Childcare is available for children up to age four during all of worship.

Children in kindergarten through second grade will be dismissed to their classes during the greeting time of service.  However, Renewal Kids' volunteers will be in the rooms beforehand if you wish to take your children earlier.

We intentionally encourage parents of children ages seven and older to worship together as a family, because we see this as a great discipleship opportunity for children.  In worship, children see and experience with their parents the church worshiping together.  If your child is not capable of remaining in the worship service, please speak with one of our Renewal Kids' volunteers, and we will seek to accommodate your child.  We are thankful to have you and your family worshipping with us!
